As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to assist each individual client to uncover their true potential and lead a life that is meaningful. While change is difficult to achieve and situations of the past are challenging to overcome, I am committed to providing clients with a safe space to resolve and restore personal growth. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, my mission is to uncover patterns of behavior that impact an individual from living or creating a balanced life.
I have earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the College of Staten Island; a Master of Science in Counseling with a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mental Health from Alfred University. I hold a certification as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor, and I am a Certified Trauma Professional.
Areas of focus include working with individuals to address addictive behaviors, depression, stress, anger, anxiety, trauma, and family or interpersonal relationship concerns. In working with clients, I will utilize a holistic approach by applying creativity during the therapeutic process while exploring attainable goals. Utilizing a person-centered approach, I empower my clients to develop self-motivation, increase self-esteem and create changes necessary to modify or remodel their life.
