Are you finding it hard to put into words how you’re thinking or feeling? Perhaps you’re worrying about what tomorrow may bring. You may be feeling so overwhelmed with all of your responsibilities that you find yourself shutting down. You may be struggling to see or describe yourself using positive words. You may even be finding it hard to process a loss you’ve faced.
You’re not alone, and you don’t have to work through these challenges alone. As your therapist, my role would be to help you get a better understanding of the issues, guide you on adapting your perspective so you can better overcome them, and work alongside you to develop strategies to use at present and in the future.
I’ve worked with adolescents, adults, and families, all wanting to achieve various goals, whether it is to cope with feelings of depression or anxiety, communicate effectively with others, or build up their self-esteem. I value creating a space where no one feels judged or blamed. Within that space, I’m able to build a therapeutic alliance with each individual I work with where they not only feel safe enough to share their experiences, but they come away feeling like their voice was heard.
